*The hot Romanian girl at the RV Rental place (too bad she was married Sad)
*Our walking tour of 6 blocks of the fabolous industrial district of Oakland in search of food.
*Buying a watermelon out of the back of a truck in said Oakland industrial district.
*Trying to run/limp with the watermelon when I got called to come sign for the RV
*All of the motorcycles riding around in Monterey on our way in with the RV. I'm definitely bringing a bike next year
*Not having to fight traffic to get into the track in the morning
*Getting to interview Jake Zemke and the Honda team manager
*Meeting some GP brolly girls (one of whom will be at VIR for AMA Superbike I think)
*Hearing our RV neighbors' racing crash stories: "I just forgot to do anything, braking point goes by...turn in point goes by...OH SHIT!!!"
*Hanging at the campsite of some folks from the Speed Channel moto forum
*Seeing the look on everyone else's faces when the GP bikes came by
*RJ busting his ass trying to climb the hillside by the corkscrew
*The Honda 1-2-3-4 finish with Nicky Hayden leading the way and Kenny Roberts in 4th with an American made (Honda powered) bike
*Dinner at Louie Linguini's
*Fearing for RJ, Leech, and Paul's lives as a bunch of thug dudes argued in the Denny's parking lot while me, Andrew, and John were safely inside eating pancakes
*The Walmart parking lot warzone

*** N E X T Y E A R ***
*Bringing a bike
*Going to hang on Cannery Row at night
*Gonna try to score a media pass
*Hustle my way into one of the industry parties
*Get up there a day early so I can check out Monterey
*Don't get caught in Oakland at 1 am

And my number 1 highlight:

After the GP race I was feeling pretty weak from not having had any water for awhile so I went to the Honda Rider's Club Hospitality tent to cool off and recover. I wanna say I was half asleep when I heard a commotion behind me. I looked up and who should be sitting in a chair in the Honda tent but Nicky Hayden.

I ran up to take a couple of close up pics
