Maybe one of those GT350s sitting on Sterling Ford's lots will have to go for MSRP or less now that new body style is out.

Aight, I'm not too proud to admit it's not as bad as I originally thought (the more pics I see, the more I realize it's almost like Ford went out of their way to release the worst possible ones first) buuuut it's still not an improvement. Not feeling the triangular vents and the larger grille/lower fascia. Those wheels are nice though.

Yeah I've seen prices deflate slowly on the GT350 to the point that there are a few dealerships offering them at a touch under MSRP now. R models are still stupidly rare though. Either way my next car purchase will have to wait until after a new house.

Easter egg in one of the 2018 release photos from Ford - Boss 302 in the background hmmmmmmm?

Kinda lame that they went digital and did away with the gauge binnacles - cleaner look I guess, but was such a classic part of the interior.

Nah, already been debunked on multiple forums. Those exterior side mirrors are that of '13 Boss ilk.

Look for a new Mach1 and or GT500, not a Boss.

What's with that PRNDS bullshit in the gauge cluster?

10-spd auto. just like the '17 ZL1 that ran The 'Ring in 7:29.60, actually the exact same 10-spd auto (jointly developed by GM and Ford).

I'd buy that auto. :dunno:

I'd buy the auto just because Jake doesn't like it. <3

Automotive News Discussion - EclipseTurbno93 - 01-18-2017

I was talking with a co-worker the other day and we got into a discussion about Dodge and their seemingly complete lack of relevant news regarding future cars (besides the upcoming demon). Has anyone heard any updates regarding a new Challenger/Barracuda based of the Alfa Giulia platform? I heard that they were doing that like five years ago and then there was a whole lot of nothing, but now that the Giulia is finally here think we'll see an update soon? I'd love to see Dodge become relevant again.

Demon logo looks like a confused hellcat.

The new 911 GT3 will be available in EITHER 7 speed PDK or 6 speed manual. Rejoice purists. We knew this though.

Who cares? Cayman GT4 with 4.0L?!!!!!!?!

Re: Automotive News Discussion - G.Irish - 01-26-2017

I'd be pretty surprised to see that 4.0 in a Cayman. But maybe Porsche will detune it significantly so that it doesn't step on the GT3's toes. Or just make the GT4RS ultra exclusive.

I would think it would make more sense to put the current GT3's 3.8L in there and call it a day, but that engine seems to be somewhat prone to failure so maybe Porsche is abandoning it completely for the future.

Re: Automotive News Discussion - WRXtranceformed - 01-30-2017

Oh my God. Yes

Not that I would ever own this car, but I can't wait to see the future Grand Tour Trio's review of this thing Smile

Re: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 01-30-2017

Love it. Big fan of stupidly high horsepower pointless SUV category.
