Isn't T-Fall coming out for 360? Sorry, I know I'm beating a dead horse, but a handful of exclusives (including some that, you know, aren't exclusive) isn't enough for me to pay more for shittier hardware.

Especially in the case of Titanfall where it makes heavy use of cloud resources for gameplay.
For me the big deal breaker is Forza 5. If Sony were smart they would've released GT6 for PS4, that might've tipped the scales for me.

At this point I feel like Nintendo is on the same glide path as SEGA. The big difference is that Nintendo has Gameboy profits to fall back on.
I might actually buy both systems but Sony has made it harder for me to justify because they don't have many exclusives. After Killzone, Infamous, and Uncharted (no Uncharted game on horizon yet) what is there? Rex has correctly pointed out that Bungie is prioritizing PS4 for Destiny, but it's gonna be on XB1 too anyway. MGS5 is also going multiplatform. I don't know what Sony has been doing in the last few years but it seems they've ceded a lot of ground on exclusives.

I was thinking about this the other day - why hasnt nintendo made a phone yet? Seems like to me that they'd be the ones in a perfect position to parley mobile gaming into a platform that can also make phones

As far as sci-fi shooters, Halo is still the best, and it's still one of the overall best console FPS's. I wouldn't stay just for Halo but Halo and Titanfall has me sold for now.
I'm not ruling out PS4, but there are at least 2 exclusives for XB1 that I'll be buying in the 3 to 6 months after launch. That said, if I have a hardware failure on my XB1 I'm out.

PS4 for me, cause the guys I play with are going that route. Halo 4 was mediocre and I came to the realization that once I get past the 10-15 lap races in Forza the game collects dust.

Love how everyone keeps throwing that 50% number around, let's wait and see how the games actually look. Thought that here, more than anywhere else, would know not to judge a device (car) by the numbers on pages.

All games at release are roughly the same, the dev cycle for these games started before the dev teams even got dev kits. Its as the consoles mature that the engines are refined and the differences come out.

I'm probably going with PS4 just because of how shitty the xbox 360's were in terms of reliability. I lost 3 of those things to the red ring of death. Luckily costco is awesome with their return policy and took them back even after the microsoft warranties were up.

True enough, I know the PS3 Cell was apparently a bitch compared to 360 but I never really noticed any huge difference in gameplay between the two. I guess my point is, it will never be THAT big of a difference as "50% faster" is making it sound.
