I think the reason non-iphone users like to give the iphone shit is because there's been a decade of "ZOMG MY PHONE IS SO GREAT." There's no doubt Apple changed the smartphone market and the world with the iphone, but they're no longer leaps and bounds ahead of Google and Samsung. I personally believe Samsung and Apple are on par these days and it's a highly personal choice. That didn't used to be the case, so it's fun to point that out to iphone fanbois.

Based on all this info all I've gathered is, I already lose my corded ear buds and only find them cause I see part of the long string, I would never survive having to charge them. I was in and out of airports for 8 hours of the day the other day and my corded ones don't run out of charge. And speaking of, jet blue gave us free corded ones on the plane to use with the in flight entertainment which required corded earpiece. Furthermore, thinking back to my apt last year (and many other people's apt) our sound system required you to plug in with a cord, this isn't uncommon and I'd want to say the majority of people still run this and plenty of college students, so you know, that's a big disadvantage too. Not to mention they're expensive. Also at work we plug our phone in to the main speaker system and play music that way. And actually I think so does Billy jacks downtown hburg, they have a phone plugged in by the bar running Pandora. So basically the 7 would be a bad phone for me, college students and most people who don't have the money to Bluetooth everything they encounter. I can come up with so many scenarios where no port only makes inconvenience and locks out so much other tech/uses. Like Ken said, providing the port and having wireless would have been the smart way. Keep your supporters and "advance technology" or whatever. As it seems now they're really just going for money.

In other news iOS 10 is out. Looks a little different. They added bigger emojis and you can draw your own doodles now! Wow! Other than that, nothing to get all excited about for me at least.

Ended up pulling the trigger on a set of BeyerDynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm headphones plus a Fiio E10K DAC + Amp. Not sure how many audiophiles we have around but I'll report back with any thoughts I have, although all I can really do is compare them to my Sennheiser HD555 50 Ohms.

Well I actually prefer not shiny. I'm more of a matte finish type of guy but I also have the option (which I actually hate options cause I'm super indecisive) multiple Android devices at least.

I honestly don't care what Apple users or anyone buys for that matter. I just think Apple is stupid especially now that I have both. Granted i don't use the Apple much but when I do, it's just super irritating and to me unintuitive.
But Apple the company annoys me because they think they can come up with complete shit ideas and take steps backwards and be hailed as visionaries.
Plus I really have always loved that quote lol.

I just dont give a fuck what anyone else does anymore. I like the jPhone, will buy the new one, life goes on, other people will use other things, Apple is sitting on billions of dollars and will continue to make billions more... losing the headphone jack wont be the death of the company as the prophets say. Eventually they'll get it right but a broken clock is right twice a day too.
