Why Stance Wheels?

BECAUSE NOT RACE CAR!

I love how its soooo stanced, but missing foglihts (or foglight deletes), and missing the plastic grill.....Looks like a cheap attempt at stance to me.

Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - Sully - 08-27-2011

Its not even an M and its missing its jack receptacle cover. Looks like my car the day I got it with the missing front uhh everything. That seems about right for stance though DJ. Everything done about 75% of half assed, but they think its done hella fresh and so much attention to detail was taken. It would be like,"oh look, he removed his fog lights and front grill for more stance. And he also took out the right side jack receptacle to make a statement." You know kinda like those dumbasses who wore one pant leg rolled up to set a new trend.

The "wedge" ones were a 4 stroke V4, and not *that* uncommon...

The owner of this car (Mike Burroughs of Stanceworks) actually tracked this car with its current setup at Fluid Motor Union's recent track day, MotorUnion.

Looks to me the dude shredded his tires and admitted that it had lots of room for improvement. You can track anything you want, it doesn't make it good. And correct me if I'm wrong regulary track-dayers, but just because you pass a few people doesn't mean you're awesome at driving on a track.

Whatever, I totally passed an F1 car in my car. Those F1 cars are slow.

That guys lower control arms are upside down and that car is on the bumpstops in the front and the rear in that photo. Bet she handles great.

Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JPolen01 - 09-06-2011

I'm not saying that it was an optimal set up or that he was the best driver at all. I'm just trying to show MM and all of its hate the other side of the picture. Everyone rips stance apart and gives it no respect even though there are enthusiasts like this that tear up their "stanced" ride just to show it can be done. I think that deserves a little credit.

Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - Mike - 09-06-2011

what can be done? the car can be driven? that's awesome that you can drive that car. i like cars that can be driven. cars that cannot be driven are REALLY dumb.

God, its so refreshing to see exhaust pipes. Bare, big ass pipes. No trim, chrome, stylized bullshit. Like two doubles in your face. I want this car.
