so true...

Dave Wrote:Ford reported some really good numbers this morning. If I were you guys, I'd be selling every bit of it that I had in today's overreaction, profiting handsomely, and then buying it back on a pullback over the next week or so.

That's what I just did.

In at 2.42, sold at 5.16. Cha-ching!

Im just keeping my ford stock I bought for the long run. But youre def right around the over reaction.

bought at .75 a few weeks ago.

trying to sell at 1.68, will buyback after a hopeful drop tomorrow (rare for something to gain 60% one day and go up again the next).

I found a dollar yesterday on my way to the Caps game.

Bought a Mega Millions ticket with it.

the gambling jokes are old. please refrain from making any more. if the stock market isn't for you, stay out.

Sunrise Senior Living? Where do you find this crap?

You're clearly doing a little more research than me, I bought DDR because I liked the name

Your dumbass penny stock stories are old. I'm all about talking about actual legitimate stock market activity, but the only thing you've had to contribute in *weeks* has been "Well, I took a risk on X and it paid Y, YAY FOR ME." How are my posts different? I have mentioned gambling *exactly* twice, both related.

Mike, you have a blog to post your "I Won The Stock Market" shit on, can you do it there? When I open this thread, I actually enjoy reading about the *stock market* not your wild ass gambles and payoffs.

edit: And besides. It's not a joke. I found a dollar on the sidewalk yesterday, walking from the Metro to Verizon center, and this morning I bought a Mega Millions ticket with it. I'll keep you guys posted on what happens.

Paragraph 2, Section 2 of the MM Forum Penal Code for Internet Delinquents Wrote:If you have something to say to another user in particular (that will most definitely result in a response), use the Private Message feature.

Just doin' mah job.

I don't see what this has to do with the stock market thread. Troll elsewhere.

- BLINGMW - 04-29-2009

So this is insider trading then? Confusedhock:

Goodspeed said penal

- CaptainHenreh - 04-29-2009

So Goodspeed, were you talking to me or Mike?

Mike Wrote:I don't see what this has to do with the stock market thread.

Well, see, it works like this:

I had a windfall and decided to invest it. Granted it's a bit of a long-shot investment, but my chances of a BIG payoff are a known value. I'll let you guys know whether or not my investment pays off.

It has *precisely* as much to do with the stock market thread as your past, oh, say, 10 posts.

No, no it doesn't. If you'd like to start a thread for various types of investments, go for it. This one is for the stock market. Aside from that, I don't see any rules in regard to what one posts in it as long as it's about the stock market.
