- Dragon - 07-25-2006 I can host them, I'll give you the ftp information tomorrow for us to take care of. Oh and fucking awesome vacation, and Rob I have no idea what race people were talking about that said it was boring, far from it. - Maengelito - 07-25-2006 i didnt get to watch the race, but i cant imagine bikes going down the corkscrew. seeing it in person is different than any video or picture i've ever seen. i'm pretty sure i'd fall down if i tried to run down the corkscrew. what'd you all think? - Mike - 07-25-2006 my touched up pics are being upoaded to matt right now. - John - 07-25-2006 Look forward to the photos... .RJ Wrote:Monterey also moved onto my short list of places to move next spring Monterey is a nice place to visit, but as a single male, it's pretty dry. - Sijray21 - 07-25-2006 John Wrote:Monterey is a nice place to visit, but as a single male, it's pretty dry. yup. i think just north of the Bay Bridge is an excellent place though. Although for both place you need to make some serious $$ for comfortable living in either place. i want to visit the Half Moon Bay area and check that out sometime. - Dragon - 07-25-2006 Pics from Mike's camera are up. http://msleech.net/gallery/v/LagunaSeca06/ - .RJ - 07-25-2006 Looks like all the pics are thumbnail sized - Apoc - 07-25-2006 So uhhh... why didn't you guys try zooming in? - JohnC - 07-25-2006 So here's some quick highlights from me: 1) Getting Rossi's autograph 8) 2) Seeing all the other MotoGP riders and getting pics of Edwards, Hopkins, Hayden (although G has a much better Nicky Hayden story), Nakano, Capirossi, etc... 3) Seeing all the other celebrities - everyone associated with the motorcycle racing community just seemed to be really chill and willing to talk/shake hands/pose for pics/etc with everyone 4) Chillin' with the Kawi umbrella girl (thanks to G of course), then Andrew and I seeing her again in the MotoGP garage area and looking like the coolest guys ever... 5) Meeting Liam Schubert (of MotoLiam fame) and shaking his hand 6) Meeting so many other folks there who were just plain excited to be witnessing such a great weekend and an awesome race 7) Racking Paul with the legs from the grill 8 ) Witnessing the hilarious drunken antics of our RV neighbors 9) Chatting up the Aussies a couple of RVs down about Stoner, and confidently predicting all of his crashes And of course it goes without saying that I had a great time with G, RJ, Matt, Andrew, and Paul. Having a great group of friends together enjoying the weekend was really just the icing on the cake. I hope we can get everyone together (and more) for next year's event. - .RJ - 07-25-2006 Apoc Wrote:So uhhh... why didn't you guys try zooming in? That is all the way zoomed in - Dragon - 07-25-2006 Fixed, sorry was messing around with the permissions, because of the hidden gallery. - .RJ - 07-25-2006 Gibby got stuffed! ![]()
- Apoc - 07-25-2006 .RJ Wrote:You mean the 35mm shots that are on like the first 10 pages?Apoc Wrote:So uhhh... why didn't you guys try zooming in? I do see some at 300mm in the 3x pages.. damn you guys musta been far if this is 300mm.
- G.Irish - 07-25-2006 Yeah I messed up on the first shots because I left the zoom lense in the bag. I didn't bring the camera out on Friday, then I forgot it on Saturday so all I had was the Sunday Warm up to get the bulk of the pics, then i forgot the zoom lenses *hammer* Boneheaded move for sure but I'll do better next year. - .RJ - 07-25-2006 ![]()
