H22A clutch - Andy - 08-28-2004 What's up guys. I've actually just heard about Madison Motorsports so I thought you guys could help. Torched my Exedy Sport Clutch in 10,000. I didn't find out till later that it's only good up until 200whp. So I need another clutch set as well as a replacement friction disc for my Clutchmasters flywheel. Got recommendations on where I can get a CM Stage 3 for cheap. The cheapest I've found it for was 370 and thats still a little too high for me. I've also been looking at a SPEC stage 2, that's more in my price range 300 +/- 30$ . . . basically a segmented kevlar disc is what I'm looking for. - Kaan - 08-28-2004 i just put a Spec B (aka stage two) in my crx. i love it so far. its only rated up to 275 ft/bls so you have to take that into consideration. BantTmotorsports.com thats where i had my work done and they deal in Spec clutches. look them up and give them a call. saw your old ls block - Andy - 08-28-2004 You managed to destroy that block worse than my old h22a. How'd it happen? thanks for the info, i'll check them out. - Feersty - 08-28-2004 Jackstands, would don't you give us an introduction where you are coming from in the Lounge. - Kaan - 08-28-2004 internal combustion engine + water = boom boom - Kaan - 08-28-2004 the spec clutch clamps well without a heavy pedal. i've only got about 750 miles on it but so far its great, even on the street. the engaugement zone is really small but its easy to get used to because the pedal is only as heavy as stock. any place else - Andy - 08-31-2004 I just talked to B and T, and they're asking 373.00, that's a little high for me. Does anyone know of any other place of the top of your head. - Mike - 08-31-2004 http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/pages/specials.asp 20% off exedy products and free shipping. my organic clutch and lightweight flywheel came to like $470 and arrived a few days later. - .RJ - 08-31-2004 How much power are you making? Exedy makes a 'race' clutch as well (still organic). - Mike - 08-31-2004 me? big vtec powah! - .RJ - 08-31-2004 Not you dumbass - Mike - 08-31-2004 i know but i do have enough power to roll an r. - .RJ - 08-31-2004 R with a slow driver in novice group... only 190 to whp - Andy - 08-31-2004 I only make 190 whp. I actually have an exedy race disc right now. If any you guys like Exedy, I can get them for 240.00 shipped. I think i'm going to move up to a segmented kevlar disc, like a Clutchmasters stage 3 or a spec stage 2. Has anyone ever bought a replacement disc for the Clutchmasters flywheel. Apparently no one can get one for some reason. - .RJ - 08-31-2004 I have heard good things on the H-T bandwagon about Action clutches. - navin - 08-31-2004 same... and ive heard bad about exedy cluthces, but i have one in mine... seems fine for now.. until i slap on the snail - Dave - 08-31-2004 navin Wrote:until i slap on the snailthat's what I like to hear - Mike - 09-01-2004 navin Wrote:same... funny, your buddy mark who slapped on the snail is actually slower at autox now gonna drop the trans sunday - Andy - 09-01-2004 I'll post pics of the exedy sport disc. I've heard good and bad about exedy so we'll see. Re: gonna drop the trans sunday - Mike - 09-01-2004 jackstands Wrote:I'll post pics of the exedy sport disc.
